Embarque™ is a car service with a difference - a new, cutting-edge car transportation service in London providing point-to-point and airport transfer services. Embarque enables its clients to book services online or via a 24-hour manned reservations centre and offers a highly personalised level of service and account management. The company operates a fleet of brand new Ford Galaxy vehicles and the drivers are uniformed and have undergone independent third-party background checks and intensive training. Embarque has the full back office support of the world’s leading ground transportation company, The Carey Group.

Project background
In London, Embarque has an established name within the travel and tourism sector. As part of its growth strategy, Embarque decided that they needed to create and find new business opportunities within other vertical markets in London.
The Telemarketing Company were selected to provide a campaign to support these objectives by providing high quality face to face appointments for Embarque representatives to follow up and secure new business. The Telemarketing Company worked carefully with Embarque to plan and execute a campaign of 7 weeks duration focusing on Finance, Legal and Advertising and PR companies within Central London.
Project execution and results
Two hundred and forty five hours were planned for the 7 week duration of the campaign. To ensure that The Telemarketing Company was portraying the correct message and brand positioning, acting as an extension of Embarque, call recordings and documentation were regularly sent to Embarque. Any feedback received was then used to streamline and refine the telemarketers’ approach.
The Telemarketing Company also integrated mail shots in to the campaign. This enabled prospective clients of Embarque to receive detailed information regarding the Embarque service. The Telemarketing Company then used this as a warm pipeline to re-contact prospects and create further business opportunities for Embarque.
Upon the completion of the campaign, The Telemarketing Company generated one new business appointment in every 4.5 hours of calling, which surpassed Embarque’s original expectation of one appointment in every five hours.
