Following a remote inspection, auditors have fully recommended continued accreditation to the Interviewer Quality Control Scheme (IQCS) for TTMC Research, the research arm of The Telemarketing Company. Inspectors congratulated the team on having maintained the high standards required despite the significant upheaval of the past year.
TTMC, a MRS Company Partner, carries out specialist CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) research including
large international programmes with native language speakers calling 24/7 across multiple time zones. COVID-19 required all staff to shift to remote-working which created challenges in terms of training and managing new staff to support large projects in particular. Auditors were impressed with how managers had adapted their working methods to ensure IQCS standards were maintained.
Niall Habba, MD commented:
“As a business, we pride ourselves on our agility but COVID-19 has challenged us beyond the norm. In the field of research, quality and compliance are paramount and I’m extremely proud of how the team has responded and continues to deliver the high standards required by our valued clients."
The Interviewer Quality Control Scheme is an independently run scheme that requires members to adhere to a set of benchmark market research industry standards. These cover the recruitment, training and appraisal of fieldwork staff, and the implementation of various administrative and validation procedures to maintain the quality and accuracy of data collected.
