Project Background.

Eurotherm approached The Telemarketing Company to run a campaign to promote their E+PLC solution. E+PLC is an open standards based PLC platform, which combines decades of knowledge in precision PID control, with secure recording packaged in function blocks for incredibly easy implementation.

When controlling a process, precision brings many benefits. It can reduce energy usage, shorten processing times, minimise waste, improve final product quality and, overall, increase profitability. The E+PLC contains the heart of Eurotherm expertise in measurement, recording and control, all in a flexible, PLC package.

There are many reasons why a prospect would be interested in such a  solution and these include;  fear of failing audits, which in turn could lead to a loss of accreditation and the knock on effect on reputation , the rising cost of energy,  how to increase throughput and how to improve quality and reduce waste. 

E+PLC Precision Analogue Temperature control meets the demanding requirements of the automotive and aerospace industries. Secure data recording producing records that cover a full audit trail.

Integrating with Eurotherm’s power products offering can provide more efficient use of electrical energy, in energy intensive processes.  Accurate, repeatable process results, means less re-work, higher quality consistently and more throughput.

Project Execution and Results

A campaign of 175 hours was planned and the calling team visited the client site for the initial brief, to get a feel for the environment.

Calling on a mixture of Existing Client data and new prospects, The Telemarketing Company was tasked with speaking to decision makers to include End Users, Plant Managers, Operations Managers, Owners, Operations Manager and Technical personnel.

The campaign progressed smoothly with regular feedback and call recordings exchanged. A total of 26 Appointments and 7 Sales Leads were produced, with The Telemarketing Company booking them into the relevant BDM’s diary.
